Exmoor Challenge

Last weekend (29th April), Year 6 completed the Exmoor Challenge, trudging 16 miles across Exmoor.

The 3 school teams, walked amazingly well, working well together as a team, and using their map reading and navigational skills, to complete the difficult route.  Arriving at the finish line with smiles on their faces, they were greeted by parents, families and staff, all of whom were extremely proud of their achievements.  The children were awarded with a medal for finishing the route and a celebration assembly will be held in school, this week to celebrate their achievements.

We would also like to thank Mrs James, Mr Fullick, Mrs Fullick and Mrs Webber for giving up so much of their time to train and support the children with this challenge. Many thanks also to Mr Cheung for sponsoring the Exmoor Challenge T-shirts.
