On Friday 2nd February, St Johns, along with thousands of schools nationwide, took part in the NSPCC Number Day.
On this day, all the children were able to experience a range of maths activities that were quite different to their regular lessons. Treasure hunts, singing, creating board games and solving Tangrams were a few of the activities that engaged us all.
The children were encouraged to dress up for the day by wearing clothing linked to maths and make a donation to the NSPCC. There were many creative designs from students and teachers! We were able to show our support for the NSPCC by raising £110. Thank you to everyone who helped make this day a success.
