Youngsters show off their new snap bands as developer encourages all parents to walk to school

With the evenings drawing in as the darker months approach, Taylor Wimpey has handed over 150 high-visibility snap bands to St John’s Catholic Primary School in the town to help keep pupils safe on their way to and from school.

Caroline James, head teacher at St John’s Catholic Primary School, added: “As well as promoting a healthy lifestyle to students, walking to school is also a huge help in reducing the volume of traffic outside school, thereby making the area safer for all."
